【Question from the customer】I would like to make a simple tea room, by laying tatami mats on top of flooring, but will they shift when I walk on them?
(Answer)
A slip resistant material is attached to the reverse side of the tatami.
If it is on top of a wooden floor, this slip resistance will be effective and it will not move.
As shown in the above photo, even if the surface of the floor is very shiny, the slip resistance on the underside of the mat will stop it from moving.
The slip resistance on the underside of the mat will work well without dirtying or damaging the floor.
More and more people are using our mats for practicing the tea ceremony.\
More and more people are laying tatami mats in a corner of their living rooms or office buildings, and using this to practice the tea ceremony or as a rest space.
All you need to do is place the mats, and as slip resistance is attached, they will not move when only limited force is applied.
It is simple to lay the mats down, and so the mats can be put away as well if necessary.
