Yes, but I was worried about the colours so I spent a long time browsing Instagram photos to decide. Very happy with TOKYO green which isn’t too bright, it’s just right. The Instagram photos I used as reference were colour accurate so I’m happy with that.
Q4. What points (which characteristics) were the deciding factors which led to your order?
Lots of photos and comments from international customers, good product information on website and blog. Also the mats were made in Japan and had international courier delivery which is very hard to find.
Q5. After actually using our tatami mats, what are your thoughts and feelings on them? Please provide your honest impressions.
Looks good in the default colour and alternating direction of the mats really does give it the checkered appearance. I was impressed that custom sizing came perfectly accurate. And although it is TOKYO series, it feels very comfortable for bare hands (bare knees is a little rough though, can’t crawl around too much), and bonus is the easy care! Only need a dry cloth or microfiber mop daily. My only issue is there is a bit of warping and some mats won’t lay completely flat but it will eventually settle and look a little better.
