Tatami mats sometimes appear to change color depending on the direction of sunlight.

I received the mats and let me tell you they are beautiful, they were packaged properly and arrived in excellent condition. I can tell the precision and pride in the product. It is a superior product and I’m very grateful that I found your company. I’m soon moving in to a new house and I will be placing more orders.

One small feedback, I like to provide. It is clear that the 2 sizes came from two different batches because the color is slightly different. I understand that it is a natural product and there might be a slight variation. However I was slightly disappointed that all 6 maths did not come from the same batch.

It tells me that the standard size is pre-made and the two custom sizes were made additionally that’s why they are little different in color.

I know that I’m particular so please know that I mean this with the most respect.

You may have felt that the color of the two tatami marked “B” is different from the color of the tatami marked “A”.

Please try to line up the tatami in the same direction.

You will notice that A and B are the same color.

The color of tatami may appear to change depending on the direction of the sunlight coming in through the window.

Because the direction of the pattern on the surface of A and B is different, they appear to be two different colors depending on the light.
