I wanted a softer floor surface, for sitting, sleeping, and exercise, and one that would be easy to maintain.

The square shape, the maintenance, the mite and mold reduction, and I loved the smell (from the sample). I also appreciated the clear shipping description, instructions for caring for the mattes, and suggestion to order a sample first–these things helped me feel more comfortable making a purchase.
